Field Control Analytics (FCA) solutions improve construction safety for large infrastructure projects. Which is why FCAs’ was chosen to be the access control technology provider for the Port of Miami Tunnel. This project included the construction of a tunnel beneath the Government Cut shipping lane, extensive roadway work on Dodge and Watson Islands, and the widening of the MacArthur Causeway Bridge. The tunnel featured two parallel passages, each 4,200 feet in length and 39 feet in width.
FCAs’ access control technology played an instrumental role in ensuring the site met the highest construction safety standards. FCAs’ advanced worker management platform and hardware supported multiple site entry points – crucial given the project’s vast scope.
The FCA platform enabled the construction team to manage the workforce ensuring only authorized personnel were on-site. FCA’s real-time and historical workforce data enhanced management’s decision-making, mitigated risk, and boosted project coordination.
Field Control Analytics was a key partner in ensuring the safety and success of one of the most significant infrastructure endeavors in the region.
