Hard Rock Stadium, just north of Miami, underwent a $350 million transformation to redefine the fan and player experience. Originally opened in 1987 as Sun Life Stadium, the venue reemerged in 2016 with a modernized design that rivals the best in NFL stadium construction.
The renovation began in 2015 and unfolded in multiple phases. Contractors added high-definition video boards, luxury suites, and open-air seating pods, and now a new canopy now covers most seats, protecting fans from sun and rain while maintaining the open-air feel.
Seating capacity dropped from 75,000 to 65,000, enhancing comfort and improving sightlines across the stadium. Upgraded lighting, audio, and video systems prepared the venue to host global events for years to come.
Projects of this size and complexity require coordination and control. Field Control Analytics (FCA) delivered that and more. Our platform helped contractors manage labor access, monitor safety compliance, and streamline credential verification in real time.
We ensured only qualified, authorized workers entered the site. That control was critical on a high-visibility NFL stadium construction project with layered subcontractor teams and tight schedules.
FCA’s technology also reduced administrative workload. By automating workforce tracking and simplifying jobsite security, we gave project leaders more time to focus on execution.
At Hard Rock Stadium, FCA’s digital access control tools made a visible difference. We helped contractors meet deadlines, improve safety outcomes, and protect one of the NFL’s most iconic venues.
